The Dust Devil Chakram Bike may appear to be a single-rider weapon with both firepower and mobility, but it is more accurately a platform for rapid-deployment of firepower. It features a single wheel design, with armor enclosing the rider on both sides, and is equipped with twin-mounted machine guns and a stabilizing tripod.

It’s a far cry from the crude designs typical of wasteland weaponry, derived from the design of artillery carriers of Karsten, the military industrial powerhouse. Compared to the Smoke Signal, the Dust Devil is more heavily armored. Although its maneuverability is reduced, it retains its high speed, capable of charging forward while protecting its rider with armor. Despite its appearance, the Dust Devil is not an assault vehicle. Instead, it is a stationary turret, after quickly deploying into a combat zone, sets up a support frame to unleash firepower.

However, its off-road capabilities and rapidly deployable configurations still grant it excellent fast-strike abilities. During an assault, the machine guns on both sides can fire, but doing so affects balance which will reduce accuracy. Still, the Dust Devil’s exceptional off-road and steering capabilities allow it to swiftly change positions on the battlefield using the tripod’s quick deployment and retraction system. It then unleashes its firepower through its quad-mounted machine guns.

Rumor has it that the design concept originated from Karstenian anti-aircraft weapons, now used to fend off flying Chimera attacks on the tribes. While the powerful machine guns are suitable for anti-air defense, in practice, they are mostly used in internecine skirmishes within the tribes. It can even challenge the Arche-Soldiers of the great powers with its sandstorm-like firepower.
